The Cathedral School is seeking a Childcare Educator to work in its licenced Childcare Centre for a full-time 12 month maternity leave contract. If you are looking for a change of role that offers no under-roof ratio and fully covered meal breaks this might be the role for you.

Our Early Learning Centre provides wonderful facilities, excellent resources including its very own toy library and allows staff to enjoy uninterrupted break times. What we’re looking for:

Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards.
Current First Aid and CPR.
Valid current Blue Card (Working with Children check).
A love for teamwork and excellent communication skills.

All staff at Cathedral are expected to support the philosophies of the school, must either hold or be able to obtain a Blue Card and/or be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers. Applicants will be subjected to blue card screening, referee checks, identification verification, and will be required to disclose any information relevant to their eligibility to engage in activities involving children and young people.
