Non-trade Qualified Bakery Staff

PART-TIME, FULL-TIME & CASUAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE

An opportunity exists for interested persons to provide assistance working across a variety of Departments within the Bakery located in Toowoomba. You may be required to work shifts across the 6 days of the week which may include early morning shifts, afternoon shifts and public holidays.

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE

WHAT YOUR DAY WOULD LOOK LIKE:

Working in a supportive team environment, where some of the key activities would include:

Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods, meeting daily production goals.
Packing and order assembly duties.
Handling and storage of ingredients.
Monitor product quality.
Perform bakery support duties as assigned by supervisor.
Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards.
Availability for weekends and some public holidays.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Ability to multitask and follow instructions.
Organisational skills.
Basic math or computer skills ideal.
Physically fit – this position requires frequent walking, standing and reaching.
Able to perform basic math functions.
Possession of good judgment is essential.
Professional appearance.
Understanding of food safety and health and safety ideal but training will be provided.
