AGRICULTURAL MECHANIC - BDSA ROMA

BDS Mechanical Repairs Aus is seeking an experienced Agricultural Mechanic to join our Roma team in a full-time, permanent position. BDS Mechanical Repairs Aus is a leading provider of mechanical, auto-electrical, and welding services across Queensland and Western Australia. With a fleet of more than 160 mobile service units, we deliver reliable on-site and workshop solutions across a service area spanning more than 600,000 km².

The successful candidates will possess the following:

Relevant trade qualification
Diagnostic experience
Strong fault-finding skills
Experience with AG/Farm machinery
Good communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Additional skills, experience, tickets, and licences will be highly regarded

Your duties will include:

Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
General Repairs/maintenance works on AG/Farm machinery
Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
Checking vehicle lighting systems
Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
