As a Graduate Electrical Engineer
Based at our Railton operation, you will build hands-on technical capability across a broad range of electrical engineering work in a complex, high-reliability industrial environment. Working alongside our Electrical Services and Reliability Engineering teams, you will:
- Develop your electrical engineering foundations through plant exposure, hands-on maintenance and shutdown participation
- Work across a diverse range of electrical systems and equipment in a heavy industrial setting
- Contribute to reliability improvement projects, condition monitoring and end-of-life system upgrades
- Support inspections, commissioning activities and technical assessments across the site
- Collaborate with engineers, tradespeople and operational stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
- Build the skills and experience to put you on a clear leadership trajectory within our engineering team
This role is designed to develop your technical capability and set you up for long-term growth. You will be directly involved in the improvements that will shape the future of our operations for years to come.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for curious, driven grads who want to hit the ground running in 2027. You’ll thrive here if you are:
- Completing (or have recently finished) a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
- Keen to learn electrical reliability, protection and compliance from the ground up
- Love solving complex problems and making sense of data
- Resilient, proactive, and ready to step outside your comfort zone
- Keen to grow, learn and take on new challenges
- A strong communicator who enjoys working with people, from trades to site leaders.
- Happy to get hands-on with shutdowns, commissioning and predictive maintenance
- Open to relocating to Railton, TAS for the program (we’ll support you the whole way)
