About the role
This role is responsible for shaping how Red Rooster shows up online, in culture and in conversation. Owning the end-to-end social ecosystem, you'll lead everything from strategy and creative ideation through to content creation, creator partnerships, community engagement and performance optimisation.

Part strategist, part creator and part storyteller, you'll spot trends before they happen, create content people genuinely want to watch and share, and help keep Red Rooster relevant in an increasingly competitive attention economy. Working closely with Brand, PR, Digital and Creative teams, you'll bring campaigns to life and build a distinctive, culturally connected social presence.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is just as comfortable developing long-term strategy as they are filming content, editing videos, briefing creators and responding to trends in real time.

Key Activities Include
Social Strategy & Brand Presence

Develop and lead Red Rooster's social and content strategy, ensuring activity supports brand growth, customer engagement and commercial objectives.
Own the social content calendar and channel strategy across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and emerging platforms.
Identify trends, cultural moments and audience behaviours that create opportunities for the brand to participate in relevant conversations.

Content Creation & Storytelling

Create, capture and publish social-first content across video, photography and copy that is native to each platform and aligned to the brand.
Develop ideas that balance planned campaigns with reactive content, helping Red Rooster stay relevant and engaging in real time.
Continuously evolve content formats, creative approaches and storytelling techniques to improve audience engagement and shareability.

Campaigns & Creator Partnerships

Lead the social execution of brand campaigns, product launches and promotional activity from concept through to delivery.
Work closely with Brand, PR, Digital and Creative teams to develop integrated content that amplifies wider marketing initiatives.
Build and manage influencer and creator partnerships, including sourcing talent, briefing, approvals, campaign management and content delivery.

Community, Performance & Innovation

Oversee community management, fostering an engaged online audience and ensuring the brand participates meaningfully in customer conversations.
Monitor channel performance and audience insights, using data to optimise content, improve engagement and inform future planning.
Stay ahead of emerging social trends, competitor activity and platform developments, testing new ideas and formats to drive stronger results.

About You
Essential

5+ years experience in social media, content, creative, digital marketing or advertising roles.
Proven success developing and leading social and content strategies for a consumer-facing brand, with accountability for brand growth, engagement and business outcomes.
Strong content creation capability across video, photography, editing and copywriting, with a deep understanding of platform-native storytelling.
Experience developing and managing creator, influencer or partnership programs from briefing through to campaign delivery and performance measurement.
Commercially minded and highly collaborative, with the ability to translate audience insights, trends and performance data into action while building strong relationships across stakeholders and partners.
Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva and social media analytics platforms.

Desirable

Experience within QSR, FMCG, retail, hospitality, entertainment or other highly consumer-focused brands.
Experience leading integrated campaigns across social, PR, digital, creator and brand marketing functions.
