Administration Assistant (Reception) – Balcatta Campus

Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Time: 4:00pm – 9:00pm
Location: Balcatta Campus

Industry Skills Training (IST) is seeking a confident, friendly and reliable Administration Assistant to support our evening operations at the Balcatta campus. This role is the face of IST during our night classes, welcoming students, assisting with enquiries and keeping reception running smoothly.

About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for our students, providing a warm welcome and helpful support. This role suits someone who enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail and is confident managing multiple tasks in a busy training environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet students and visitors with a positive, professional attitude
Assist students with enquiries, directions and general support
Supporting our trainers
Manage reception tasks including attendance, paperwork and basic admin
Follow up on absentees and confirm attendance for upcoming classes
Support with invoice payment follow‑ups and basic student account queries
Maintain a tidy and organised front‑of‑house area
Action student requests and ensure timely follow‑up
Work autonomously while contributing to a supportive team culture
