About the Role

The Channel Sales Manager (AMD & Acer) will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing partnerships with channel partners and distributors. The role involves overseeing channel sales activities, driving revenue growth through the partner ecosystem, and ensuring partners are equipped with the knowledge and resources necessary to promote and sell the company’s products or services.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Manage Channel Sales: Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to expand the company’s market presence in Australia.
Build and Maintain Partner Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing partners to ensure ongoing collaboration and mutual success.
Ensure Partner Success: Provide partners with the tools, resources, and support needed to succeed in their sales efforts.
Achieve Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed channel sales targets and quotas to drive revenue growth.
Collaborate on Sales Strategies: Work closely with partners to develop and implement sales strategies that drive growth and revenue.
Monitor and Optimize Partner Performance: Track and analyze partner performance, offering feedback to optimize results and ensure targets are met.
Conduct Training Sessions: Regularly train channel partners on products, sales processes, and current market trends to ensure they have up-to-date knowledge.
Update Partners on New Products: Ensure that partners are well-informed about new product launches and marketing campaigns to align their efforts with company initiatives.
Collaborate with Marketing Teams: Work with internal marketing teams to create co-branded marketing materials and campaigns that support channel partners.
Organize Joint Events and Promotions: Plan and execute joint events, webinars, and promotions to drive demand through channel partners.
Track Sales Metrics: Monitor sales metrics, pipeline development, and performance of channel partners to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Report to Senior Management: Provide regular updates and reports on channel sales strategies and performance to senior management.
Identify Market Trends and Opportunities: Stay informed about trends, challenges, and opportunities within the partner ecosystem to refine sales strategies.
Ensure Internal Alignment: Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, product) to ensure alignment and synergy across strategies.
Provide Product Feedback: Offer valuable input to product development teams based on partner insights and feedback from the market.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in channel sales, partner management, or a related field.
Experience managing and growing channel partnerships.

Skills:

Sales and Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to drive sales and negotiate favorable terms with partners.
Relationship-building: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster long-term relationships with partners.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to track and evaluate partner performance.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and partnerships simultaneously.
CRM Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics platforms.
