An Endorsed Enrolled Nurse opportunity exists for qualified and motivated nurses to join our Medical Unit.

Hunter Valley Private Hospital has been caring for the Hunter community for more than 60 years. Since becoming part of Healthscope in 2015, the hospital has continued to provide accessible, high-quality private healthcare close to home.

Located in the heart of the Hunter region, the hospital supports patients across a broad range of medical, surgical and allied health services, with care delivered by experienced specialists, nurses and healthcare professionals dedicated to achieving positive patient outcomes.

At Hunter Valley Private Hospital, we believe healthcare is about more than treatment alone. It is about creating an environment where patients feel supported, informed and cared for throughout every stage of their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
Medication endorsed EN may administer medications according to state law and organization policy

Essential Criteria:

Current Registration with AHPRA
Working with Children check
Enrolled Nurse qualification in Monitoring and Administering IV Medications
Advanced level of clinical skills (desired)
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF- NSW Nurse and Midwives' -Enterprise Agreement 2022, a salary ranging from $35.75 - $39.70 per hour.
