The Role
The Head of Brand, Digital Experience and Market Activation is responsible for shaping how PaperCut shows up in the market…establishing strong market positioning, building brand preference, activating new and existing solutions, and elevating our digital experience.
In this role, you will set an integrated global strategy across brand, digital experience and market activation to drive awareness, preference, adoption and business growth. Leading and influencing a global team, you will ensure PaperCut’s portfolio is supported by compelling narratives, differentiated positioning, coordinated market activation and a cohesive, digitally mature presence.
Your mission is to bring the PaperCut brand to life through a clear brand vision, powerful storytelling, technical thought leadership and standout positioning – all delivered through a frictionless digital experience. The 3 primary elements of your role are:
Brand — positioning, storytelling, community and thought leadership
Digital Experience — delivering our story through owned platforms (website, partner portal, owned channels, organic and paid search) and maximizing performance
Market Activation — product marketing, launches (releases and sustainment), adoption and revenue readiness
You will partner closely with Commercial Activation colleagues within Marketing and Product Management leaders across Product to connect product strategy, market insight and commercial execution to ensure our solutions are positioned, launched and activated effectively across global markets.
What you'll actually do
Integrated global strategy: Shape and set the integrated strategy across brand, digital experience, and market activation to build brand preference, accelerate solution adoption, and drive business growth.
Bring the PaperCut brand to life: Champion brand architecture, market positioning, and storytelling through technical thought leadership, community building, and stand-out positioning across global markets.
Mastermind digital experience: Elevate owned digital platforms including the website, partner portal, and organic/paid search delivering a seamless, digitally mature customer journey that maximizes overall performance.
Drive Market Activation: Set the strategy and own the planning & delivery of strategy outcomes. Including owning the execution of brand campaigns / elements to support the strategy.
Fuel cross-functional alignment: Partner closely with Commercial Activation marketing teams and Product Management leaders to connect product strategy with market insights and commercial execution.
Inspire and lead: Support your team members to set and deliver against their goals; recognize and reward high performance, provide feedback and coaching to support their development
What you bring to the table
Proven leadership track record: 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 3+ years in a senior strategic role managing digital, brand, and market activation functions on a global scale.
Mastery in positioning & narrative storytelling: Exceptional ability to craft compelling brand narratives, define clear market positioning, and turn complex tech/SaaS features into engaging, customer-centric stories.
Domain expertise: Experience across performance marketing, SEO/SEM, owned platforms, and modern digital marketing stacks.
Strategic product & brand acumen: Experience in product marketing, positioning, launch execution, and crafting compelling product narratives for cloud, SaaS, or tech solutions.
Cross-functional leadership: Exceptional stakeholder and partner management skills with a collaborative approach to connecting product, marketing, and commercial teams.
Data-driven & commercial mindset: Strong analytical capability to translate data, user insights, and market trends into actionable growth plans, defined KPIs, and optimized campaign performance.
