Role: Senior Insolvency & Restructuring Lawyer
Are you an experienced insolvency and restructuring lawyer looking for an exciting, challenging role, working with a team of specialists, undertaking complex insolvency and restructuring advice and litigation?
Matthews Folbigg Lawyers has the largest specialist insolvency & restructuring practice outside of the Sydney CBD. We act for international, regional and local insolvency practitioners as well as for directors, creditors and individuals dealing with corporate and personal insolvency and financial restructuring.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Insolvency & Restructuring team group leaders and a team of specialist insolvency & restructuring lawyers providing quality advice and legal representation for our clients. It would suit an associate or senior associate or someone looking for promotion to reflect abilities.
You will be working on technical insolvency and restructuring advice on both corporate and personal insolvency, as well as restructuring transactional work and insolvency related litigation, regularly representing clients in the Supreme and Federal Courts, as well other State Courts and tribunals.
To be considered for this role, you will be an enthusiastic and motivated lawyer, with experience in insolvency and restructuring as well as commercial litigation. Pre-admission experience is viewed favourably.
The successful applicant will be a team player, not precious, and willing to work in a collegiate and supportive environment to get the best results for our clients. You will have strong technical abilities and client relationship skills with an excellent attention to detail.
