Now we’re looking for an Electrical Reliability Technician to join us at Rowland Flat, our Barossa Valley “centre of excellence” for premium and sparkling wine production. Nestled between Lyndoch and Tanunda, you’ll be working in the heart of a region home to Jacob’s Creek, St Hugo and other globally renowned wineries.

This isn’t just breakdown work. It’s a role for an electrician who wants to own reliability, solve problems properly, and make equipment perform at its best. You’ll be the go‑to expert for electrical and control‑system performance across a fast‑paced packaging environment, working closely with production, engineering and automation teams.
What You'll Bo Doing
Tackling electrical and control‑system faults and driving root‑cause investigations
Improving reliability of motors, VSDs, PLCs, sensors and packaging‑line control systems
Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
Supporting commissioning and continuous improvement projects
Managing critical electrical components and spare parts
Guiding apprentices and contractors with a strong safety mindset
Contributing to automation, control‑system upgrades and reliability initiatives
What You'll Bring
Electrical trade qualification (Electrician / Electrical Maintenance) with SA licence
Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or packaging environments
Strong electrical and control‑system fault‑finding skills
Hands‑on experience with motors, VSDs, PLCs, sensors and electrical drawings
Ability to use CMMS and basic computer systems
Desirable:
Exposure to TPM / 5S or reliability frameworks
PLC experience (Siemens / Allen‑Bradley)
Forklift, EWP or other high‑risk licences
