Full Job Description

The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. Reporting to the Engineering Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery through accurate timesheet processing, project administration, document control and commercial administration activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their career within a supportive engineering and project environment. You will gain exposure to a broad range of administrative functions while working closely with project teams across the business.

Please note this is a 14-month mat leave cover opportunity with the potential for extension pending business requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

Processing employee and contractor timesheets accurately and within payroll deadlines
Maintaining timesheet registers and following up outstanding approvals
Raising purchase requisitions, invoices and supporting month end commercial processes
Assisting with project setup administration and cost tracking activities
Supporting document control processes including document registers, filing and revision control
Preparing reports, spreadsheets and meeting documentation
Providing general administration support to engineering and project teams

What we’re looking for

You will be a proactive and organised administrator who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high quality work.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Certificate in Business Administration, Business Services or a related qualification preferred
Previous experience in administration, project support, finance administration or office support roles
Experience with timesheet processing or payroll administration highly regarded
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Experience within engineering, construction, mining, professional services or project based environments will be highly regarded. Familiarity with ERP systems such as JDE, Oracle or SAP is also advantageous.
