Operations Coordinator

Roar Equipment Pty Ltd – St Marys, NSW

Roar Equipment is seeking a practical, organised and dependable Operations Coordinator to join our team at our St Marys office.

This is a varied position suited to someone with strong common sense, good organisational skills and the ability to keep multiple tasks moving at the same time. The successful applicant will play an important role in coordinating day-to-day operations across freight, field service, purchasing and general administration.

Key responsibilities

Coordinating inbound and outbound freight movements
Scheduling and supporting field service technicians
Organising service jobs, travel and daily work requirements
Purchasing locally sourced equipment, parts and consumables
Following up suppliers, deliveries and outstanding orders
Assisting with stock and operational administration
Maintaining accurate records and job information
Supporting management with general office and administrative duties
Responding to changing priorities in a practical and efficient manner

About you

We are looking for someone who:

Has approximately 3–5 years’ experience in a similar operations, service coordination, logistics, procurement or administration role
Takes a sensible, common-sense approach to solving problems
Is organised and able to manage several priorities at once
Communicates clearly with technicians, suppliers, freight companies and customers
Is confident using email, Microsoft Office and general business systems
Is reliable, accurate and willing to take ownership of tasks
Can work independently while also contributing as part of a small team
Has experience in freight, field service scheduling or procurement, which would be highly regarded
