Partner with the Pacific Controller to lead financial reporting, governance and controls across Pacific (Australia & New Zealand)

The Opportunity:
We're seeking an experienced Financial Reporting & Control Manager to oversee controllership activities across our Pacific (Australia and New Zealand) business, partnering closely with the Pacific Controller to deliver robust financial reporting, governance, compliance, and operational excellence. This is a high-impact leadership role within a complex, multi-entity, fast-paced, and technically challenging environment.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Shared Services, and the broader business to ensure reporting integrity, maintain a strong control environment, and the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage controllership activities across CBRE Pacific, partnering closely with the Pacific Controller
Oversee statutory and regulatory reporting, audits and direct and indirect tax compliance
Provide technical accounting guidance across US GAAP & IFRS and lead month-end close and group reporting
Drive a robust internal control environment, including SOX compliance and process improvement initiatives
Partner with Finance Business Partners on key transactions and their financial and P&L impacts
Contribute actively to finance transformation initiatives across the broader CBRE Group, including system implementations and entity restructures.
Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team while collaborating with our offshore Shared Services team to delivery high-quality financial outcomes.

About You:
CA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is essential
Big 4 public practice background, ideally gained to Manager level (or equivalent) combined with subsequent experience in a large, complex corporate environment.
Several years of extensive experience of progressive finance and accounting experience, with meaningful experience across both public practice and industry
Demonstrated financial control and controllership experience within complex, multi-entity organisations.
Strong technical accounting capability, including US GAAP, IFRS, statutory reporting, and internal controls is highly advantageous
Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, experience managing audits, compliance and regulatory reporting
Hands-on, resilient, and confident working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
