The ORS Positive Behaviour Support division is expanding and we are seeking our next clinician to join us! You will join a national team of 300+ Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners providing clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65. You will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.

You will get to work with an amazing group of clients over a period of months or even years. You will play an integral part in their personal growth and development, working together to meet their goals. You will form a close bond with your clients and celebrate their achievements together, every step of the way.

Your day to day duties will involve working with allied health practitioners, support workers and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients. You will assess and observe participants challenging behaviours and work towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation and introducing replacement behaviours to reduce the use of restrictive practices.

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and assessments focus on increasing a person’s quality of life including improving their skills and enhancing their independence. You will develop a plan and implement with training and regular follow up and review.

Give you the ability to work part time or reduced hours

A few requirements:

Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, Allied Health or Nursing
NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner (or the ability to become registered)
Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable)
A car and licence
A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
