Robust stream of major project mandates continuing to grow while much of the market remains subdued.
High level of responsibility, direct client contact and involvement in nationally significant infrastructure and energy transition projects.
Exposure to complex energy, renewables, resources, transport and major property development projects across Australia.
Broad mix of work including procurement strategy, project structuring and negotiation of EPC, EPCM, D&C and O&M arrangements.
Acting for sophisticated clients including developers, contractors, government bodies, financiers and major energy and mining participants.
Suited to a front-end construction/projects lawyer at the Senior Associate level, with strong drafting capability and commercial approach to complex transactions.

Senior Associate – Construction & Projects

Opportunity to work with a highly regarded collaborative national team that remains busy.
Strong pipeline of front-end energy and infrastructure work across renewables, LNG, power and major developments
Advising sponsors, financiers and major energy users on complex domestic and cross-border projects
Exposure to sophisticated project documentation including PPAs, gas supply, JV and development agreements
Collaborative national platform with genuine progression, mentoring responsibility and direct client engagement
Suited to a 5+ PQE lawyer with strong front-end construction, energy or projects experience and commercial drafting capability

Senior Associate – Projects & Renewables

Within a top-tier Energy & Projects practice positioned under the National Head of Energy & Natural Resources, supported by a technically strong Special Counsel
Advise on major LNG, gas, infrastructure and energy transition projects
Acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures and project development transactions
Work with leading Australian and international energy companies, developers and financial sponsors
Strong pipeline of renewable energy and decarbonisation matters with a genuinely international practice
7yrs + PQE with top tier background and strong academics
