About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Regional Field Sales Manager to lead our Origin Energy Sales Program across NSW. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work from home or from our office in Sydney.

As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and driving the overall sales performance with the support of your leadership team. You will be accountable for developing and managing the strategy to achieve the sales target, while ensuring the delivery of all program SLAs and KPIs. The role focuses on developing and executing effective sales strategies and action plans to maximise results and deliver sustained performance.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Effectively lead, direct, develop, and motivate Team Leaders and Business Sales Representatives (BSRs) to ensure role-specific activities are completed within agreed timeframes and state-based targets are achieved.

Ensure sales results are maximised through expert knowledge and understanding of the end-to-end sales process.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.

Collaborate closely with internal operational and analytics teams to drive continuous improvement and achieve optimal commercial outcomes.

Monitor market conditions, customer trends, and competitor activity to inform sales strategy and identify opportunities.

About You

You are a highly capable sales professional with strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of delivering results in a highly regulated, B2B field sales environment.

You will bring:

Minimum 5 years’ B2B direct sales experience managing field-based sales teams across multiple locations

Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

Proven leadership experience managing teams

Strong analytical and reporting capability

Advanced communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience using CRM and reporting tools

Current valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle

Desirable

Energy sector experience is advantageous but not essential

Exposure to client-side retail, utilities, financial services, telecommunications or technology environments
