We’re looking for an Account Executive, SMB – Slack to join our Sydney team and help Australian businesses unlock the next generation of productivity through AI.
You’ll work with SMB customers to understand where AI can make a real difference across their business — from automating repetitive work and surfacing insights, to connecting people, data and AI agents in the flow of work.
This is a full-cycle new business sales role for a commercially driven seller who is excited by AI, thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to turn customer challenges into compelling business outcomes.
Own the full sales cycle across a portfolio of SMB customers, from prospecting and discovery through to negotiation and close.
Engage business leaders to understand how their teams work today and identify opportunities where AI, automation and collaboration can create measurable impact .
Lead conversations around the future of work and demonstrate how Slack, Salesforce and Agentforce can work together to transform productivity.
Help customers understand how AI agents can augment their teams, automate workflows and enable employees to focus on higher-value work.
Connect customer business priorities to the broader Salesforce platform and demonstrate the value of a unified approach to CRM + Data + AI + Slack .
Develop and execute a territory strategy focused on creating new pipeline and winning new SMB customers.
Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, account-based selling, inbound opportunities, partners and Salesforce ecosystem relationships.
Run high-quality discovery with decision-makers and build a strong understanding of their business, technology environment and strategic priorities.
Deliver compelling, outcome-led pitches and collaborate with Solution Engineers to demonstrate the value of Slack and Agentforce.
Manage complex opportunities through the full sales cycle, navigating multiple stakeholders and building executive alignment.
Negotiate and close new business while consistently achieving and exceeding quarterly revenue targets.
Partner closely with Sales Development, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, Partners and Salesforce Account Teams .
Identify opportunities where Slack and Agentforce can complement existing Salesforce investments or introduce customers to the broader Salesforce ecosystem.
Build relationships with business and technology leaders and become a trusted advisor on AI-powered ways of working.
Maintain accurate forecasting, opportunity management and pipeline hygiene through Salesforce.
We’re looking for a high-performing, curious and commercially minded seller who wants to be at the forefront of the AI transformation.
You’ll ideally bring:
Proven experience in a quota-carrying B2B sales role , ideally within SaaS, cloud, AI or technology.
A strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Experience owning the full sales cycle , particularly new business and pipeline generation.
The ability to sell business outcomes rather than simply technology or product features.
Strong discovery, consultative selling, negotiation and closing skills.
Confidence engaging with business leaders and decision-makers around technology, productivity and transformation.
A genuine interest in AI and how AI agents will change the way businesses operate .
Commercial curiosity — you naturally ask why , what's changing , and what could be done differently?
Resilience, competitiveness and the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment.
Experience with Salesforce, Slack, Agentforce or other SaaS/AI platforms is highly advantageous.
