400 Gradi Norwood is looking for an experienced and hands-on Restaurant Supervisor to join our Adelaide Front of House team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Supervisor, Shift Leader or senior Front of House team member who is ready for more responsibility and wants to continue developing their leadership and restaurant operations experience.

For someone looking to build a career in hospitality management, this role provides valuable experience and a natural stepping stone towards future Assistant Venue Manager and venue management opportunities.

Employment: Permanent part-time
Hours: 8–38 hours per week, with agreed part-time hours based on availability and operational requirements
Pay: Restaurant Industry Award Level 3 or Level 4 – $27.97 or $29.45 per hour, depending on experience and responsibilities, plus superannuation and applicable penalty rates
Location: 400 Gradi Norwood, Adelaide SA

The Role:

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will work closely with the Venue Manager and help lead the Front of House team through busy restaurant services.

This is a hands-on role. You will be on the floor with the team, coordinating service, supporting guests and helping make sure each shift runs smoothly.

You will also have the opportunity to strengthen your leadership and venue operations experience by taking on greater responsibility within the restaurant.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading and supporting Front of House team members during service
Coordinating sections, duties and the flow of the restaurant
Providing warm, professional and attentive guest service
Training, guiding and supporting junior team members
Responding to guest feedback and resolving service concerns
Completing opening, closing and cash-handling duties
Supporting the Venue Manager with day-to-day restaurant operations
Maintaining responsible service, food-safety and workplace standards

What You’ll Bring:

At least two years’ restaurant or hospitality experience
Previous supervisory, shift-leadership or restaurant management experience
Full-service restaurant experience strongly preferred
A current South Australian RSA
A current Responsible Person approval or badge
A current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Confidence leading a team during busy restaurant services
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
A calm, reliable and hands-on leadership style
Availability across a seven-day roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
Valid Australian working rights
