Marline Newcastle Pty Ltd is a multi-disciplined building services engineering consultancy firm with over 40 years of experience. We deliver projects across the health, retail, residential, education, commercial, aged care, and leisure sectors all over East Coast with expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire and stormwater engineering and environment-sustainable building services design.

We have developed and earned a strong reputation within the wider Newcastle region and this reputation now precedes us throughout New South Wales and beyond.

Our team provides design and engineering solutions for a wide range of projects across various sectors including health, retail, residential, education, commercial, aged care, and leisure – we work closely with other engineers and designers, project managers and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.

For our Draftspeople, the below key responsibilities apply:

Preparing building services design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
Preparing project documentation
Interpreting project documents
Reading plans and markups and some general document management

To be successful in the role you will have;

High level of proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Communication skills, including the ability to relate to a cross-section of people, communicating both verbally and in written form.
Computer literacy with a good understanding of Word, Excel, Outlook.
Possess great attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
Time management and organisational skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
A willingness to learn, proactivity, reliability, and problem-solving skills.
