About the Opportunity

As a Radiation Therapist level 2 you will assume a responsible role in performing all aspects of radiation therapy imaging, planning and treatment delivery, according to departmental and District policies, procedures and guidelines.

In this role you will:

Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in complex clinical procedures.
Participate in the development and upgrading of clinical protocols and techniques.
Undertake a proactive role as a multidisciplinary team member to ensure optimum patient care, throughput and efficiency.
Undertake a key role in delivering service to the highest professional and technical standards at all times.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Radiation Therapy) or Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Sciences) - Radiation Therapy or qualifications deemed equivalent by CCLHD. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Licensure and accreditation with appropriate authorities including Australian Institute of Radiography & Department of Environment Climate Change and Water.
Demonstrate in all aspects of radiation therapy planning and treatment delivery including; multimodality imaging, IMRT, VMAT and IGRT techniques.
Demonstrated proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
Proven communication and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, to interact with patients, their carers and professional colleagues.
Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation therapy quality assurance and quality controls in radiation therapy.
