HVAC and Refrigeration Technicians
Electrical Service Technicians

Are you a skilled HVAC & Refrigeration Technician looking to take the next step in your career? At West Group, we’re seeking qualified professionals to join our team, where you’ll work on commercial HVAC&R systems, contribute to service and maintenance projects, and be part of a positive, supportive environment.

Qualifications & experience

Certificate III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Current electrical licence (if applying for electrical position)
5 years post apprenticeship trade experience (preferred but not essential)
Australian drivers licence
Arctick licence
Construction white card
BMS controls experience an advantage

Tasks & responsibilities

Perform service and maintenance on all aspects of commercial HVAC&R systems, ensuring efficient operation and minimal downtime.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC&R equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, and refrigeration systems.
Participate in the weekly on-call roster, providing reliable after-hours support to clients.
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to maintain system longevity and performance.
Collaborate with the team to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Demonstrate a strong focus on WHS (Work Health and Safety), following all safety protocols and promoting a safe workplace.
Work with BMS controls to optimize system performance (experience in this area is a bonus).
