About the Role:
Make a meaningful difference every day by helping create a clean, welcoming, and supportive environment for patients and staff. As a Services Assistant, you'll provide efficient catering, cleaning, housekeeping, and laundry services, including preparing and delivering meals, to help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the health unit.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Criteria
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
Flexible, reliable, and able to meet deadlines while working across various settings.
Basic knowledge of food safety, infection control, and safe work practices.
Experience or exposure to housekeeping, catering, cleaning, or laundry services.
Strong customer service skills, confidentiality, and basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
Desired Criteria
Year 11 completion and a current First Aid Certificate are desirable.
Experience in housekeeping, catering, laundry, and basic Microsoft Office skills.
Manual handling skills and an understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity principles.
