Full Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced A Grade Electricians - Solar Installers for Contract positions. You will be working across residential and commercial PV solar, battery storage and EV charging projects across Metropolitan Melbourne and the Victorian region.

You will ensure all works strictly adhere to Australian Standards and CEC requirements.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Installing and commissioning residential/commercial PV solar, battery storage, and EV charging systems.
Conducting site inspections, technical troubleshooting, and generating accurate field reports.
Managing daily on-site safety, quality control, and signing off on electrical compliance documentation.
Interpreting system designs, working at heights (ladders, scaffolds, and roofs), and managing site deliveries/equipment.
Training and mentoring apprentices on site, supporting their technical skill development and safety awareness.
Delivering outstanding customer service and explaining system operations clearly to clients.

WHAT YOU'LL GET

$45 - $50 per hour.
Contract full-time position.
Strong pathway for career growth, leadership development, and ongoing training.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

A Grade Electrical Licence (VIC).
Minimum 2+ years' experience as a qualified electrician with proven solar PV & battery installation experience.
Valid White Card.
CEC / SSAA Accreditation (PV & Battery).
Working at Heights Licence
Current Driver's Licence & Working with Children Check (WWCC).
EWP Licence (highly regarded).
Full PPE (Hard hat, Hi-vis, Steel cap boots).
Must have own transport and tools.
