We are seeking a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Bar Attendant to join our team and help deliver exceptional service to our guests.

About the Role

As a Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming bar environment and ensuring compliance with responsible service requirements.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service to guests.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and process payments.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of bar areas.
Restock beverages, glassware and bar supplies.
Monitor customer behaviour and ensure compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements.
Assist with stock control and inventory management.
Set up and close bar areas as required.
Support restaurant and function operations when required.
Maintain workplace health and safety standards.

Skills and Experience

Essential

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
Previous hospitality or customer service experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong cash handling and customer service skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Reliable, professional and well-presented.

Desirable

Previous bar or hotel experience.
Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits and cocktail preparation.
Gaming Machine Licence.
First Aid Certificate.
Experience working in remote or regional hospitality venues.
