About the Role
We are seeking a Casual Home & Garden Maintenance Worker to assist our clients with maintaining safe, clean, and well-kept home environments.
This is a hands-on, mobile role working across the Mid Murray region, providing one-on-one support to clients in their homes. While you will be part of a supportive team, you will be trusted to work independently and take ownership of your day-to-day tasks.
You will be expected to carry out all duties in line with Work Health & Safety (WHS) guidelines, ensuring work is completed safely, responsibly, and to a high standard at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Lawn mowing, edging, and general yard maintenance
- Gardening tasks including weeding and light pruning
- Minor home maintenance and basic repairs
- Gutter and window cleaning
- Supporting a safe living environment for clients
What We’re Looking For
- Practical, hands-on skills with a proactive approach
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Reliable and trustworthy, with a strong work ethic
- Friendly and respectful when working in clients’ homes
- Physically capable of manual work
Essential Requirements
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Worker Clearance
Please note: A current Driver’s Licence, National Police Check, and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements. An offer of employment will not be made until all required documentation has been provided and verified.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in gardening, maintenance, or a similar role
- Previous experience working in aged care or community services
