Additional Information

These roles are Permanent Part-time, ranging from 40-50hrs/fortnight

As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).

Team vision (text) As Sales Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
Process product knowledge and confidently recommend relevant add-on items that complement customers’ primary purchases, supporting increased attachment rates and overall basket value.
Maintain add-on product areas to ensure they are fully stocked, accurately priced, clean, and presented in an accessible, customer-friendly manner.
Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth.
Maintaining a clean and organised sales area, ensuring all products are properly priced and fully stocked.
Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Previous retail experience preferred
Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting, replenishment, standing for extended periods)
Passionate about learning and sharing the IKEA product range with customers.
Can work with a strong sense of urgency while adapting effectively to change in a fast-paced team environment.
Able to prioritise multiple tasks and are comfortable with on-the-job physical activity.
Adopt a customer-focused mindset and strive to deliver a memorable shopping experience.
A friendly attitude and are comfortable with connecting and interacting with people.
