About the role

Join a 2026 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work Gold Winner and 2026 Sustainability Champion recognised by the World Steel Association. Play a key role in shaping our performance across our InfraBuild Recycling business.

Based at our Mackay site, the Forklfit Operator role entails day shift work across a 38 hour week, with overtime available.

Pay rate - $37.87 per hour plus $461.54 remote living allowance will be paid in your fortnightly pay!

All overtime is paid at overtime rates.

What you will be doing:

Performing manual handling tasks
Maintaining cleanliness of the yard and operational areas
Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
Conducting daily checks on mobile plant
Adhering to safety procedures at all times
