The Role
We are looking for experienced Personal Care Workers on a Permanent Part-Time basis to join our Gisborne Oaks home in Gisborne. This home has around 100 wonderful residents who value your contribution. We have multiple permanent part-time roster lines available across AM and PM shifts, with most current vacancies across PM shifts.
Available roster lines include approximately 6–7 shifts per fortnight, with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts. These roles would suit experienced Personal Care Workers who are looking for stable, ongoing part-time hours in residential aged care.
Our Personal Care Workers:
- Assist residents with daily activities according to their needs and choices
- Observe and report any changes in resident condition to the Nurse on shift
- Plan and support residents with social and lifestyle activities within the home
- Document information including all required charting and progress notes
- Spend time with the residents to connect, share stories and show empathy

About you
- Completed or currently studying a Cert III or higher in Individual Support or a related qualification. If you have completed the first year of your nursing studies, and have completed your placements, you will be a qualified Care Worker
- Experience working in an aged care environment
- A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain
