Administrative Assistant
Full-Time | Alstonville | Established Local Manufacturing Business

Orion Blinds is expanding, and we're looking for a warm, well-organised Administrative Assistant to be the first point of contact for our customers and provide day-to-day support across the office. You'll spend most of your day looking after clients , answering enquiries, processing orders and keeping people updated , while lending a hand with basic accounts tasks such as invoicing, payroll support and following up overdue payments.

What You'll Be Doing

Customer Service & Admin (your main focus)

Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer emails and messages
Be the friendly first point of contact and provide polite, professional updates to clients
Process customer orders and get them ready for production in our on-site factory
Follow up on order status and keep customers informed through to delivery
Direct enquiries to the right team members and help resolve issues quickly
Keep customer records, files and office admin accurate and up to date

Basic Accounts Support

Raise and send customer invoices, and enter supplier invoices accurately
Follow up on overdue accounts and assist with friendly debt collection
Perform simple data entry and help keep pricing information current
Assist with payroll from time to time when needed
Support the finance team with day-to-day admin as needed

What We're Looking For

A friendly, positive phone manner and genuine care for customers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Well organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple tasks
Comfortable with numbers, data entry and basic accounts tasks
Solid Excel skills for tracking and simple reports
Good attention to detail and reliable follow-through
Confident with computers; experience with Xero or similar is a bonus
A dependable team player who's happy to pitch in
Experience in admin, customer service or a manufacturing environment is an advantage

Salary & Hours

Competitive salary based on experience
