Café Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly committed Manager to take full operational ownership of a busy, fast-paced hospitality venue.

About the Role

As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for all operations of the venue. You will lead from the front, hands on and guide all levels of staff and management. You must ensure the business operates to the highest possible standard at all times You will work closely with ownership to collaborate on ideas, refine systems and continuously improve operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, guide, and manage all levels of staff and management

Implement and maintain training systems, procedures, and service standards

Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and retain strong teams, Create and manage rosters, staffing levels, and labour efficiency, resolve internal staff issues and performance matters professionally and decisively

Drive exceptional customer service and actively identify ways to improve the guest experience. Oversee stock ordering, stock control, rotation, and waste management

Manage budgets, operational costs, and profitability. Ensure the entire venue is clean, organised, and operating at a high standard at all times

Act as the primary point of leadership when the business requires direction or support.

About You

You are a highly driven hospitality professional who is obsessed with standards and takes pride in running a disciplined, well-executed operation. You are highly organised, focused, and relentless in maintaining consistency across people, service, and systems. You remain calm under pressure and are decisive when challenges arise. You are the person who steps in when no one else can, takes control of difficult situations, and ensures the business continues to operate at a high level. Your availability is fluid and aligned with the needs of the business, including early starts, late finishes, weekends, and public holidays. You understand that leadership means showing up, being present, accountable, and reliable when the business needs you most.

You must have a minimum of 3-4 years of restaurant management experience.

Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
