Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a responsible and energetic Swim School Instructor to deliver fun, high quality swimming classes at PCYCThe Gap Pool. If fun and safety are your top priorities, we want to hear from you!

Your New Role

As the Swimming Instructor, you will provide professional instruction in swimming programs within a school environment. This role will provide a safe, fun and educational environment in which students progressively learn to swim. We’re committed to fostering a supportive, respectful, and positive atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Every interaction with our members is designed to contribute to their sense of belonging and growth. About You

Hold a current Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety
Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate
Experience in a similar role is highly desirable
Hold/willing to obtain a Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics (if required)
Good communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders
Ability to deliver effective swimming lessons for a variety of age groups and skill levels
Strong knowledge of water safety protocols.
