Join the Child and Family Health team in Inverell and play a vital role in supporting children and families across Inverell, Ashford, Tingha, Bundarra and Delungra.
Working alongside experienced nurses and a supportive multidisciplinary team, you’ll help promote healthy growth and development, strong parent–child relationships and positive health outcomes for children aged 0–5 years.
As a Child and Family Health Registered Nurse, you’ll provide family-centred care through home
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Provide home and centre-based
- Deliver immunisations and promote healthy lifestyles.
- Assess growth, development and wellbeing.
- Educate and support parents with practical guidance.
- Identify health and developmental needs and provide appropriate referrals.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary health professionals.
- Travel across the local community to provide accessible family-centred care.

About you
You’re a warm, organised and compassionate Registered Nurse who enjoys building trusted relationships with children and families.
You’ll bring:
- Current Registered Nurse AHPRA registration.
- Postgraduate Certificate in Child and Family Health – essential.
- Immunisation qualification, or willingness to complete one.
- Family Partnership training, or willingness to undertake it.
- Current driver licence and willingness to travel.
- Strong assessment, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
