Hamilton Island is seeking an experienced Electrical Services Technician to support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our on-island electrical distribution network.
Hamilton Island generates, transmits and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the entire Island for the benefit of residents, guests, employees and our community. Hamilton Island owns and operates our electrical distribution network comprising a 22km-long submarine high voltage power cable from the mainland, 50 kiosk substations, and a backup power station. This role is ideal for a qualified electrician who thrives in a dynamic, outdoor environment and is ready to trade traffic for palm trees.

QLD Electrical Licence or ability to transfer from interstate

Open/unrestricted driver’s licence

Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
