Full Job Description

We’re seeking caring individuals to join our team as a Personal Carer.

Location: Cooinda Aged Care, Gympie, QLD
Employment Type: Casual Positions

Remuneration: $41.57 - $46.20 ph (includes 25% casual loading) + Super + Salary Packaging + Access to staff discounts & benefits

We are building a great team of carers who are passionate about delivering person- centred care to our residents with dignity and respect. We aim to create a supportive and nurturing environment where our staff and residents thrive! Work with a great team in an established Residential Aged Care community.

As a Personal Carer, you will:

Support residents in their daily living activities, ensuring dignity and respect.
Promote independence and well-being, encouraging residents to maintain their quality of life.
Work as part of a team Collaborate with nurses, allied health, lifestyle, and hospitality support teams to ensure the best experience for all.
Assist with mobility and equipment use to ensure resident safety.
Provide emotional support and create a warm, nurturing environment.
Accurately document care activities in iCare and follow best practices.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, residents, and families to provide holistic care.

To Excel in this role, you will have:

Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability)
Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
Experience in a similar role in aged care
