#Role

Hutchies is seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our hardworking team in Rockhampton on a full time, permanent basis, overseeing an exciting new project.

This role reports to the Team Leader, working closely together to achieve our strategic goals objectives and contributing to the success of our projects.

#Responsibilities

As a Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating trades, subcontractors, suppliers, materials, and equipment in accordance with project plans, specifications, finishes, and construction programs
Managing day to day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards
Monitoring labour resources and productivity to maintain program objectives and project milestones
Leading and promoting a strong safety culture through the effective management of all Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements
Managing site staff, subcontractors, and trade suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery
Liaising with clients, consultants, designers, certifiers, and regulatory authorities
Identifying and resolving construction issues in a proactive and practical manner
Facilitating effective communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders
Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and company procedures
Driving quality outcomes while maintaining a positive and professional site environment

#Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Building, Engineering, or a related discipline
4 – 7 years’ experience in a Site Manager or similar role within the construction industry
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong knowledge of market conditions, construction techniques, and industry standards
Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently
Strong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders
A down to earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
