Full Job Description

Junior Administration / Receptionist – Solicitor’s Office

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Junior Administration Assistant / Receptionist to join our busy solicitor’s office.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in legal administration and gain experience working within a professional law firm. Previous legal experience is not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties will include:

Answering incoming telephone calls and directing calls to the appropriate staff member
Taking accurate telephone messages
Greeting clients and visitors to the office
Opening new client files and assisting with general file management
Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming mail
Preparing and sending outgoing mail
Scanning, photocopying, printing and filing documents
Saving documents and correspondence to client files
Assisting with basic correspondence and administrative tasks
Maintaining an organised reception and office area
Providing general administrative support to solicitors and other staff as required

This position would suit a school leaver or someone looking to start their career in legal administration.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided to the successful applicant.

Pay: From $38,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
