Full Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse Assistant & Delivery Driver (Casual)

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Assistant & Delivery Driver to join our team on a casual basis. This role involves assisting with warehouse operations, restocking shelves, preparing orders, and delivering goods to customers. The position requires excellent customer service skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently. The role is casual, with approximately 20–25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Duties

Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing goods.
Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Restock products on shelves and maintain a tidy warehouse environment.
Help with stock checks as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift license preferred but not essential).

Delivery Duties

Deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner.
Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
Ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
Represent the company positively during customer interactions.

Customer Service

Communicate clearly and courteously with customers during deliveries and pickups.
Assist with customer inquiries and provide support when needed.
Report any delivery issues or customer feedback to the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license (essential).
Forklift license (preferred but not required).
Previous experience in warehouse or delivery work (preferred).
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Full working rights in Australia (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or visa with unlimited work rights)

Working Conditions:

Casual position
Monday to Friday only — no weekend work required
2–3 days per week, approximately 20–25 hours per week
Typical working hours: 7:30 am–2:30 pm
Physically active role involving lifting, moving and handling stock, warehouse duties, and driving for deliveries.
