Full Job Description

About the Role

Fibco is looking for reliable and hardworking Civil Labourers to join our growing team delivering NBN infrastructure projects across South Australia.

This is a hands-on outdoor role working as part of a small crew. Every day is different, and you'll be involved in a variety of civil construction tasks that support the installation of the NBN network.

This role is physically demanding and suited to someone who enjoys manual work, working outdoors, and being part of a team.

Your Responsibilities

General civil labouring on NBN projects
Hand digging and trenching
Assisting with conduit, pit and cable installation
Concrete and paving removal and reinstatement
Site preparation and clean-up
Loading, unloading and moving materials
Operating hand and power tools, including jackhammers, concrete saws and compactors
Assisting the crew with daily construction activities
Maintaining a safe and tidy worksite

Essential Requirements

Current Driver's Licence
White Card
Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Able to work well as part of a team

Desirable (Not Required)

Previous NBN experience
Civil construction experience
HR Truck Licence
First Aid & CPR
Traffic Management
Working at Heights
Asbestos Awareness (Class B)
