We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our growing team at our Ozcare Hervey Bay Aged Care facility.

With Casual opportunities available, this is your chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients while enjoying flexible work arrangements.

(Ideally able to work short shifts 5.5 hours across nights and mornings but there are other rosters available too)

You need to be based in Hervey Bay

Your Role

As a Care Assistant you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence
Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities
Assisting clients with their medication requirements
Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care

Role Requirements

Be vaccinated against Influenza & at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine
Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care
Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
Good computer and mobile device skills
