Part Time (48hrs per fortnight)

Fixed Term position

About the role:

We are currently seeking an Administrative Officer to join our team in Emerald. Our Administration Officer will provide a range of general administrative and reception duties in support of service delivery and Centre Management.

What will a typical day look like?

Answer phone and in person enquiries and liaise with tenants, participants, government departments, members of the public and other stakeholders.
Arrange mail and courier functions
Perform a range of general administrative support duties
Provide assistance to support meetings
Ensure the monitoring, purchasing and maintenance of printing and stationery supplies as required
Facilitate the utilisation of the fleet vehicles, inclusive of cleaning, service and repairs

Mandatory Requirements:

Certificate III in business/office administration (or related discipline) and experience in a similar position; or
A minimum of 2 years relevant experience and willingness to achieve a Certificate III in the recommended time from enrolment.

Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
