About the Role:

Fabsco Group has an opportunity for an Administration & Accounts Officer to join the team based in our Joondalup office. As the first point of contact for the business, you will manage reception duties while overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping and administrative functions. This role suits someone with a passion for attention to detail, getting things right the first time, and the ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a team. The position is initially a 12 month maternity leave coverage, with the possibility of permanency for the right candidate.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Answer and direct incoming calls and emails
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including debtor processes
Payroll management
Petty cash reconciliation
Develop, implement and follow financial/accounts processes and procedures
General administrative responsibilities including scanning, electronic filing and maintaining registers
Demonstrate initiative to overcome unexpected circumstances
Work collaboratively within a team environment

Fabsco Group offers attractive working hours, Monday to Thursday 7.00am–3.30pm and Friday 7.00am–1.00pm, helping you maintain a healthy work–life balance. You’ll be supported by a committed management team that provides hands-on guidance and ongoing on-the-job training to set you up for success.

Qualifications/Experience:

Highly developed communication and organisational skills
An eye for detail with a commitment to a high standard of work
Ability to receive feedback constructively
Right to work in Australia

The following will be favourably considered:

Certificate IV in Bookkeeping
Previous experience with MYOB
Comprehensive experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
