Full Job Description

Acu-Tech is looking for energetic and motivated Yard Hand to join our team in Redbank.

You Will Be

Truck Loading and Unloading: Safely handle pipe deliveries with accuracy and care.
Customer Service: Support customer collections and perform stock checks.
Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Keep trucks, utes, and forklifts in top condition.
Safety Checks: Conduct pre-start inspections, report issues, and follow safety protocols.
Stock Handling: Assist with moving, organizing, and repurposing materials.
Yard Upkeep: Maintain cleanliness through regular housekeeping and waste disposal.
Material Preparation: Locate and prepare pipes and other items as requested.
Team Coordination: Ensure smooth handovers and clear communication between teams.
Product Flow: Work closely with the team to maintain efficient yard operations.

Who You Are

Minimum 3-4 years' experience within 2 years in a similar yard hand role - handling heavy ugly freight
Current forklift licence (LF class minimum)
Valid unrestricted HR License is a plus!
A team player with a strong work ethic, and attention to detail
Physically fit and able to lift heavy items up to 25kg regularly and work outdoors in all weather conditions
A commitment to safety and following procedures
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
Australian full work rights
