Full Job Description

Are you passionate about helping others and building a career in aged care? We’re looking for caring individuals with experience in home care or residential settings to support older customers (65+) to live independently at home.

Do you meet these minimum requirements?

Live in or near Dungog including surrounding suburbs Bingleburra, East Gresford, Gresford, Sugerloaf, Tabbil Creek, Wallarobba, Wirragulla or Vacy
Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (sorry, we cannot accept international licences or shared/rental vehicles)
Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters may be available)
Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start! (Get ready to learn, grow & be supported!) Travel is required for training.

What this role offers:

Open to Experienced candidates
Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts
Permanent Contract hours: 30-40 hours per fortnight + flex up hours.
Hourly Rate: $33.22 - $34.93 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time

What You’ll Be Doing:

Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
Most importantly: be a friendly face & brighten someone's day!
