Are you a passionate sales leader who thrives on developing people, driving growth, and winning new business? PFD Food Services is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive sustainable growth across our region.

About the role

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team while executing strategies that deliver profitable sales growth. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring sales targets and gross profit objectives are achieved.

What you’ll be doing

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Sales Representatives to achieve outstanding results.
Drive a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, customer engagement, and continuous improvement.
Identify and secure new business opportunities to grow market share.
Analyse sales performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Conduct regular field coaching and joint customer visits to support team development.
Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
Monitor and manage sales budgets, targets, and KPIs.

What you’ll bring

Proven leadership experience in sales management, preferably within foodservice, FMCG, or wholesale distribution.
Strong ability to coach, mentor, and develop sales professionals.
Demonstrated success in business development and winning new customers.
Strategic thinker with strong commercial and financial acumen.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Results-oriented with a passion for achieving growth and exceeding targets.
Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable sales plans.
