What’s the role?

Providing adult and childhood immunisations
Assisting with care plans and supporting nursing students
Supporting doctors in caring for patients in the treatment room, and assisting in emergencies
Assisting doctors in procedures i.e. biopsies and any other procedures
Providing assistance to reception staff as required

Is the role right for you?

Current registration, as a Registered Nurse, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Ideally minimum 1 year experience in general practice or primary health care setting, graduates considered.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills, and ability to work autonomously and as a strong team player
Demonstrated understanding of the needs of general practice and interest in community-based nursing including patient education and health promotion
Knowledge of current immunisation schedules, diabetes management, asthma management, enhanced primary care items, infection control, CPR and emergency resuscitation techniques, equipment, drugs and care plans
Current Police History Check, NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card) and Current CPR and Immunisation Certificate

A further 25-minute drive will see you amongst mango farms, rural properties and bushland.
