What You'll Be Doing
Based at the Ceduna Multi-Purpose Service, you'll deliver direct patient care across a small rural facility that serves a diverse community, including a significant Aboriginal population. This casual pool position runs through to 30 June 2027, offering genuine flexibility alongside consistent, hands-on nursing practice.
- Provide safe, person-centred nursing care under the direction of Registered Nurses and the broader clinical team
- Contribute to care planning, documentation, and handover in line with EFNLHN policies and standards
- Support patients and families with cultural sensitivity and respect for community needs
- Maintain currency in clinical competencies relevant to a rural multi-purpose service environment
What You'll Bring
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (with or without notation)
- Experience or demonstrated ability to work in a rural, remote, or multi-purpose service setting
- Sound understanding of culturally safe practice when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Reliable, self-directed approach to clinical work with strong communication skills
- Willingness to undertake a National Police Clearance and relevant SA Health pre-employment checks
- Ability to commit to casual availability to meet the operational needs of the Ceduna MPS roster
