Big Event Picnic Tables is one of Australia's leading event furniture hire companies, delivering to the country's biggest festivals, sporting events, exhibitions and public celebrations. We're on the hunt for an Event Operations Coordinator to take ownership of our Melbourne operations and help us deliver unforgettable events.
This isn't just another warehouse job.
One day you're setting up at a major festival. The next you're coordinating a crew at a race day. You'll be hands-on, outdoors, and right in the middle of the action — with real responsibility from day one.
What Your Week Looks Like
- Delivering and collecting event equipment across Sydney and beyond
- Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
- Building and packing down event sites — you're the one making it happen
- Coordinating onsite operations and running the show on the ground
- Working directly with event organisers and clients
- Leading and supporting casual crew onsite
- Keeping stock event-ready and the warehouse looking sharp
- Solving problems on the fly and making smart calls under pressure
- Flying the flag for a premium brand at every event

You're someone who:

- Is organised, reliable, and switched on
- Wants a career, not just a job
Bonus Points For (but not essential)
- Forklift licence
- MR or HR licence
- Event, warehouse, logistics or trade background

The Real Talk
Event work isn't your typical 9–5. During peak season you'll do longer days, weekends and some public holidays — with overtime opportunities to match. Quieter periods are for resetting and gearing up for the next big season. If you love variety, you'll love this. No two days are ever the same.

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
