Costerfield Operations, owned and operated by Alkane Resources Ltd, is situated in Central Victoria, east of Bendigo and surrounded by numerous towns within a 50km radius, offering a variety of residential options.
Our current operation runs an underground mine and processing plant that is responsible for producing gold and antimony. The mine's workforce consists of over 250 permanent employees who hold various roles in professional, technical, mining, processing, and trades.

About The Role
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor the Auto-Electrician will work in breakdown, repair and scheduled maintenance on heavy/mining equipment. Also carrying out electrical fit outs on new equipment and LVs. You will be required to work on surface as well as underground
The key responsibilities of the role include:
• Auto electrical diagnostics
• Breakdown repairs
• Preventative maintenance
• Electrical fault finding
• Air conditioning repairs and servicing
• Mine-spec installations
• Commissioning and upgrades
• Completion of maintenance reports and safety documentation
• Working safely within mine site procedures
About You
Our new Auto-Elec Fitter will have the following experience and qualifications:
• Australian Auto Electrical Trade Qualification
• Current Manual Driver's Licence
• Air Conditioning Licence (preferred)
• Experience on heavy mining equipment
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong commitment to safety
