About the Role:
- Provide coordination of secretariat services to Council and Committees including Executive Leadership Team and Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee
- Provide efficient and timely production of agendas and business papers aligned with policy, procedures and legislative requirements for Council meetings; Executive Leadership Team meetings; Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee; and support all other committee meetings as directed
- Undertake and finalise meeting minutes for distribution in a timely manner
- Undertake proofreading and quality control of production of documents
- Provide out of hours administration support through attendance and minute taking at Council and other committee meetings

About You:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Certificate III qualification or above, in Business Administration or a related discipline with demonstrated contemporary experience in a similar role; or substantial contemporary experience in a similar role supported by ongoing professional development
- Ability to collate multiple business documents into a corporate document that meets required corporate standards of content and layout
- Demonstrated ability to draft but also edit draft correspondence prepared by others to ensure consistent quality and accuracy of all documents prior to publication
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and provide high levels of support in an unpredictable environment
- Demonstrated advanced ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word, Excel and presentation software
- Proven ability to develop and maintain confidential, constructive and productive relationships with key stakeholders that contribute to the achievement of the organisation’s strategic goals
- Current Class C driver licence
Desirable criteria:
- Experience working in the Local Government or Public Sector
- Demonstrated experience in minute secretariat including preparation of agendas, business paper and meeting minutes
- Experience in electronic document management systems
- Previous experience in executive level administration support
